National Asset Directory (NAD) is one of the software applications envisaged as part of Phase II of e-Panchayat MMP. NAD aims to keep stock of all the assets created, controlled and maintained by the RLB/ULB/Line Department in the country and assign a code to each asset for its unique identification leading to effective utilization of the Assets.NAD software application will be primarily used by the officials of RLBs (Village Panchayat, Block Panchayat, and District Panchayat), ULBs (Municipalities, Town Areas etc.), State PR Departments, and Other Line Departments of State, Ministry of Panchayati Raj and other Central Line Ministries/Departments.
Suppose an asset is given on rent for 6 months and the earning amount is received on monthly basis. Then to add the additional earning amount, you do not need to fill the complete earning form again and again. Just click on Receive / Payment against the asset id and enter the payment details.
No. Once the asset is disposed, it will not be available in NAD.
You can change the status through Update Asset Status form.
If the plan unit declines the transfer request, the asset will go back to the transferor (plan unit who has transferred the asset).
Once the asset is upgraded, the receiving party (to whom you have transfer the asset) will transfer the asset to you through Add Asset Transfer Form. You need to accept the transfer request through Add Asset receiving form. Now the asset is available to you with Upgradation right.
NAD is connected to ActionSoft (assets created in ActionSoft automatically displayed in NAD), PriaSoft (for managing vouchers with respect to Asset creation, upgradation, maintenance and earning), LGD (for displaying planned unit while selecting implementing agency, executing agency and private agency) and PES (for user management and schemes details).
No, you have to enter the asset name individually because only based on this, 100 asset IDs are created rather than one asset ID. Common details like asset category, location, asset cost, etc. are entered only once.
The purpose of National Asset Directory (NAD) is to keep track of all the assets created or maintained by RLB, ULB or Line Department. Also, NAD helps the State level authority to keep an eye on the assets created/ maintained in their state as well as the current status of those assets.
No. Currently, NAD does not provide the data porting facility. But an asset created in ActionSoft is displayed directly in NAD, if NAD is operational in the same state where ActionSoft is operational.
Disposal means the asset is no more useful or its lifetime is over. So it is disposed to external agency (private agencies) and thereafter, the asset will not be visible in NAD. Whereas Abandon means the asset cannot be used currently due to some reason but it can be used in future. For example, a well without water can be abandoned and the status is updated to â∠ÂActiveââˆas soon as the water of that well is available for use.
Linking with other asset means you are linking the asset, whose details are being entered, with the asset which is already created in NAD. Suppose you are entering the data for building which is linked with a land whose entry is already entered in NAD, then you can link the building with the land by selecting asset id or details (asset type, asset category, asset subcategory and asset name) to identify the asset under If Linked with Other asset
National Asset Directory (NAD) can be used by RLBs, ULBs and Line Department at Central and State level for managing the assets
At NAD Home page, there is a Report under Citizen Section on the left hand. You can view the report by clicking on any of the report. For example, to view the asset details, click on the List of Asset link
Landmark of asset is useful in case of roads. Suppose a road is passing through multiple villages. Then you can enter the villages name in landmark of Asset field
Transfer from Non-NAD refers to the user who does not have the login details of NAD or who is not authorized to enter the asset details in NAD. If the asset details, which are transferred from Non NAD user, need to be entered in NAD then click on Yes under Transfer from Non-NAD and enter the requisite details
No. If the asset is already transferred with 'Upgradation Only' right, then it cannot be transferred with full right. It can only be transferred with 'Maintenance Only' right only.
Assets are resources controlled by an entity as a result of past events and from which future economic benefits or service potential is expected to flow to the entity [Ref: As defined by International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board and reported in Model National Municipal Asset Valuation Methodology Manual, January 2009, Ministry of Urban Development, GOI].
Count is an attribute which defines the measurable details of an asset. For example, it can be number of floors in case of Building, etc.
List of Asset Report provides the details of stolen assets. You need to select â∠ÂStolenââˆstatus as search criteria along with other mandatory search parameter (All State or State).
Word Document (.doc), PDF and excel (.xls) are allowed.
Yes, you can upgrade the asset but it is optional. If the asset is created for Non SC/ST, then asset is upgraded only by
